Functions and capabilities of consoles

Solo LCD Console

Sample button functions shown above

The LCD screen provides information on current temperatures and mode of operation, as well as the date and time. Illumination is optional, it can be switched on or off.

Mode of operation. The Thermostat has four operation modes programmed:
– comfort mode: the temperature is set to a value providing normal (comfortable) use of the room. This mode is selected by pressing the top left button.
– night mode (standby): the room is not used for a longer time during the night, so the thermostat reduces the temperature, returning to the comfortable value in the morning. This mode is selected by pressing the top right button.

– protection against freezing: the thermostat is not controlled manually in this mode. Heating is engaged only when the temperature in the room is so small that there is a risk of freezing of the heating system. This mode is selected during programming of the thermostat.

Temperature adjustment is possible via the bottom button. Pressing its left side we raise the expected temperature value, pressing the right side – we reduce it, irrespective of the current mode of operation of the thermostat.

Status LEDs – the diodes serve as an illumination light, enabling readout of the data in the night. They can be on or off continuously, depending on the options programmed.

Lighting control. If only one lamp is assigned to a button, then pressing its right end will switch it on (make it brighter), and the left end – switch it off (dim it). If two different lamps (or other functions) are assigned to a button, then the left and right buttons switch a given lamp or function independently, without the option of brightness adjustment.

Scenes. A scene is started through a short press of the end of a given button. If we want to switch it off we select another scene or choose 'general off’.

Heating control. Upon pressing of an operation mode selection button, the left end of the first button will reduce the temperature value, and the right end will increase it. In order to select a mode of operation one needs to press the selection button, and then the left end of another button to choose comfort mode or the right end to select economic mode.

Window blind control. A long press of the right end of the button will raise the blind all the way, and of the left end – will close it fully. A short press will make the movement stop at the current height.

Remote (infra-red) control. Thanks to the IR receiver built into the console one has the option to control the consoles from the remote unit. The remote unit has two channels (white and blue), thanks to which one can use it to control two consoles in a room – all it takes is to pick a channel (option not available in three-button console with thermostat).

Operating mode selection button. Starts the thermostat settings, switches off the diodes and illuminates the description fields. To set the illumination of description fields one needs to press the selection button, and then an end of the third button.

Display/Thermostat. Shows messages on the state of any selected appliance or the temperature or heating working mode.

Status LEDs. The diodes may serve as guiding lights or show the state of a device or i. e. a lamp by changing colour.

Display. Shows messages on the operation of a selected appliance, temperature, mode of operation or date and time. It starts up the thermostat or own illumination. To switch the illumination on or off one has to select the menu (press the display), then use its right end go to settings and select activation or deactivation of display illumination. In the settings one can also activate key locks in this way.

Status LEDs – illumination diodes for the descriptions are found under the buttons, they can serve as guiding lights informing about the status of a device, i. e. whether a particular lamp is on. Depending on the programming their illumination can be continuous or timed, i. e. lasting 20 seconds after the press of any button.
